WalkThrough NY was founded by Arthur Perez. Arthur Perez is a Certified Home Inspector for New York State and Connecticut and Home Inspection Instructor, teaching the course in Home Inspection at the New York Real Estate and Insurance Institute. For more than 30 years he managed luxury co-ops and condominium properties in the New York Metropolitan area before starting WalkThrough NY to be an advocate for the New York home buyer. While managing properties he facilitated the day to-day building operations and was responsible for overseeing numerous multi-million dollar improvement projects, ranging from basic building renovations of hallways and lobbies to total construction of fitness centers. He learned the inner-workings of the components necessary to make a property run successfully and efficiently. He channelled all of this knowledge and his love of real estate into WalkThrough NY.

After 30 years in the industry, Mr. Perez has accumulated an extensive roster of industry experts in a wide range of fields from plumbing and electrical to plaster and painting. He is often called upon for not just what he knows, but for who he knows. Building upon his existing bank of knowledge Perez went back to school and completed the requirements necessary to become a NY State home inspector.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Perez has assisted thousands of shareholders with their apartment alterations, building repairs, leaks, plaster repairs, noise complaints, and various issues in need of trouble-shooting. His problem solving skills and acute building knowledge has made him a standout in the industry. Along with real estate brokers in Connecticut, all five boroughs, and throughout Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, and Orange Counties, Perez has now dedicated his knowledge to ensure that individuals have the knowledge and guidance to get the house they have always dreamed of at a fair and affordable price.
